# Anahita > Open-source social software that an organisation runs for its own community: people, groups, events, articles, photos, videos, custom feeds and websites, in a chronological feed with no tracking. It speaks ActivityPub (the fediverse) and the AT Protocol (Bluesky). Federation is opt-in for each profile. Anahita is made for schools, newsrooms, libraries, research groups and non-profits that want digital sovereignty: a social network of their own instead of mainstream, centralised platforms. It is two products: Anahita Services (repository anahita-services), Go services behind one API (OpenAPI 3.1), run with Docker Compose locally and Kubernetes live; and Anahita Web (anahita-web), the React and Material UI web app. Anahita Mobile and Anahita CLI are planned.
